What You Will Do
* Define system architecture and clarify design requirements to guide hardware/software teams.
* Translate system requirements into robust power + control designs integrating power stages, embedded control, comms, thermal/mechanical constraints, and safety.
* Work out fit-for-purpose solutions that require deep expertise in electronics design and cross-domain integration .
* Make strategic design decisions balancing cost, modularity, robustness, scalability, and quality.
* Communicate technical aspects effectively to internal and external stakeholders, including customers.
* Stay ahead of technological trends and drive the development and integration of innovative solutions into product designs.
* Solve complex design trade-offs and mentor engineers in design analysis and tools.
* Tech you will use: ECAD: Altium Designer (schematic, PCB, rules/constraints, libraries); Simulation: Altair tools for thermal and signal integrity; SPICE (vendor and generic models) for analog/PSU; MATLAB for modeling, control, and data analysis; Test & automation: LabVIEW for production/functional test systems.
