At m Abxience, a company specialized in the development and manufacturing of biosimilar medicines, we are hiring a AD Bioassay Analyst for our Manufacturing Site in León (Spain). brGLOBAL RESPONSIBILITY brPerforms and directs assays according to and in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices br(GLP), current Good Manufacturing Practices (c GMP) guidelines and Standard Operating brProcedures (SOPs). brSufficiently competent in science to initiate and carry out scientific development projects related brto the development of new assays, initiation of new programs, assay validations and associated brprojects. Schedules and directs assays under the supervision of the Study Director. Assists brwith training junior staff members. Performs Research Development activities as required. brSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES brConducts and directs assays and lab procedures according to and in compliance with brGLP, c GMP, guidelines and SOPs. br Accurately completes batch records and other required documentation according to brand in compliance with GLP, c GMP guidelines and SOPs. br Follows all general and laboratory SOPs. br Maintains a laboratory notebook for Research Development activities as required. br Communicates with supervisor and other colleagues re: daily lab activities. br Prepares reagents and completes reagent batch records. Checks reagents for expired brchemicals and disposes of any expired reagents. br Performs laboratory maintenance (i.e. decontaminates and disposes of medical and brother waste as appropriate, maintains laboratory supply inventories, keeps work brsurfaces clean and neat) and keeps records of maintenance according to guidelines brand SOPs. br Performs routine equipment monitoring and cleaning (i.e. centrifuges, biosafety and brchemical hoods, refrigerators, incubators and freezers) and keeps records according to brguidelines and SOPs. br Completes all requisite training (Quality Assurance, safety, etc.). br Correctly analyzes scientific data with accuracy and precision. br Performs daily work activities with minimal supervision. br Communicates inventory needs to Materials Management personnel and contacts brsuppliers for technical information as needed. brREQUIREMENTS AND PERSONAL SKILLS br·Education: Master's degree or bachelor's degree with major in Biological Sciences or brother science-related major, plus. br Languages: Fluent Spanish, working knowledge in English, knowledge of other brlanguages will be an asset. br Experience (years/area): 1-2 or more years of experience. br Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of molecular biology and immunology. brm Abxience is a company committed to equal opportunities, and therefore, all candidates will be considered without distinction of race, color, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, origin, marital status, citizenship, or disability.
