Requirements
5+ years working as a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineer
Solid experience with AWS core services and security features
Strong knowledge of Docker and CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines...)
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code
Familiarity with security tooling, threat modeling, and risk mitigation strategies
Experience with Linux systems, scripting (Bash, Python), and networking fundamentals
Comfortable working in remote, async-friendly teams
(Desirable) Experience with SOC2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance environments
(Desirable) Familiarity with container scanning, supply chain security, or SBOM
What the job involves
Manage and maintain our AWS infrastructure (ECS, SQS, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments
Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or similar IaC tools
Monitor and manage resource usage, scaling, and cost optimization
Maintain and improve Docker images, containers, and orchestration configs
Apply security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes
Maintain secure network configurations (VPCs, security groups, subnets)
Manage SSL/TLS certificates and secrets
Monitor for vulnerabilities using security tools (e.g., AWS Inspector, etc.)
Ensure compliance with company and industry security standards
Operate and improve system observability (logs, metrics, traces)
Set up alerts and dashboards (CloudWatch, Grafana, etc.)
Support incident response and postmortem processes
Contribute to backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
Conduct regular platform stress testing and verify Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)
Work closely with development teams to streamline DevSecOps workflows
Document infrastructure and security practices
Participate in internal audits, penetration test follow-ups, and compliance reviews
Stay up-to-date with the latest in cloud security and DevOps tooling
