Job Description
SO/ Sotogrande, a luxury hotel brand, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our dining operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a talented team of culinary and service professionals.
Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and quality assuranceDevelop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenueTrain, mentor, and motivate restaurant staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalismCollaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus and special dining experiencesEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe dining environmentAnalyze financial reports, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising qualityHandle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionallyOrganize and oversee special events, promotions, and themed dining experiencesStay current with industry trends and implement best practices in restaurant management
Qualifications
2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in upscale or luxury dining establishmentsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reportingExcellent knowledge of food and beverage pairing, with a focus on Spanish and international cuisineFluency in English and Spanish;
additional languages are a plusOutstanding customer service skills and ability to handle high-pressure situationsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
