Currently we are looking for a H&S; Engineer who wants to work with us in our Health & Safety Departament based in Orellana La Vieja (Badajoz). Reporting to Plant Manager and Safety and Health Coordinator, the main mision of this position will be review, approve and manage safety and quality procedures and instructions of the plant in a timely manner, complying with applicable legislation and procedures, prioritizing the safety of people, the protection of the environment and equipment, with the fundamental objective of avoiding accidents at work.
FUNCTIONS:
- Plan and teach safety training for staff, including induction and planned courses. - Ensure the stock of PPE (safety equipment, lifting equipment, etc.) and verificate it. - Participate in risk assessments or safety monitoring and rounds in field work and with audits. - Review and organize the ORP documentation of external companies and authorize their entry accordingly. In additidion, defend it in audits (internal, external, SEVESO). - Carry out the annual preventive planning of the plant and monitoring of objectives and indicators. - Complete and review POW security measures. - Analize plant accident statistics and KPI compliance - Collaborate with other departments, such as operations or maintenance. - Act in case of emergency as a member of the Advisory Committee or assume the substitutions of other appointments of emergency teams, as defined in the IEP.

REQUERIMENTS: - Industrial Technical Engineer or Graduate in Engineering of the industrial branch. - Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention or higher technician title in occupational risk prevention (3 specialties), is mandatory. - At least 2 years of experience developing similar functions, preferably in the solar thermal sector. - Knowledge of Delta system and SCADAS. - Handle of Microsoft Oficce suite. - Very good level of english (minimum B2). - Valid B driving license and own vehicle (given the geographical location). - Availability to travel nationally and internationally (between 5% and 10% of working time). - Commit to lead with ContourGlobal values: Put health and safety fFirst.
