BARTENDER

Part‑time, hourly, non‑exempt. Hours may vary weekly and are not set or guaranteed.

Weekend availability is a must.
Compensation
$16.90 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Ensure a good guest experience: present drink menu, make recommendations, answer questions regarding food and beverages; take orders; promptly serve food and drink, and check in with guests regarding their experience; upsell whenever possible.
* Record drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the POS. Accept and process guest payment and make the correct change.
* Fill in as a server as directed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
* Maintain inventory and bar supplies; assist in restocking and replenishing.
* Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area (counters, tables, equipment, floors, etc.) at all times.
* Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages. Wash and sterilize glassware as needed.
Requirements
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers.
* Weekend availability.
Education / Experience
* High school education required; hospitality or other degrees a plus.
* Minimum 1‑year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred.
* Candidates with Lead Bartender and Shift Leader experience strongly encouraged to apply.
Physical Demands
* Must be able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours.
* Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
