We are seeking a highly experienced architect specialized in design management, multidisciplinary coordination and integration of engineering systems within complex architectural projects.
The position is focused on major international projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), while the role will be based in our Barcelona office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and integration of engineering disciplines within architectural projects across all design phases.
- Review and assess engineering proposals to ensure alignment with architectural intent, spatial quality and project objectives.
- Identify design conflicts, technical inconsistencies and engineering solutions that may negatively impact architecture, functionality, construction or user experience.
- Analyze the efficiency and optimization of engineering layouts and technical systems in relation to architectural design.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, vertical transportation, fire life safety and specialist consultants.
- Participate in multidisciplinary workshops, technical reviews and coordination meetings.
- Ensure consistency between architecture, engineering and BIM deliverables.
- Support design teams in resolving complex technical and coordination challenges.
- Monitor project interfaces, design risks and coordination priorities across disciplines.

Profile:
- Architect with minimum 10 years of professional experience
- Strong experience in multidisciplinary design coordination on large international projects
- Proven experience integrating engineering systems within complex architectural developments
- Strong technical understanding of MEP, structural and building systems coordination
- Ability to identify engineering design issues and assess their impact on architecture and project delivery
- Strong understanding of spatial coordination, technical detailing and constructability
- Experience working with international consultants, PMCMs and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize workflows, prioritize coordination tasks and manage technical reviews
- Experience with BIM coordination environments and multidisciplinary model review processes
- Advanced knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and coordination workflows is valued
- High level of English required
