Job Description
As part of our data-driven R&D organization, we seek a passionate Clinical Data Scientist / Biostatistician for our clinical development team focused on cosmetic products. You will help build and implement our digital transformation, analyzing complex datasets to support product development, testing, and optimization. Expertise in data science, statistical modeling, AI, machine learning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential. Knowledge of clinical development in cosmetics is a plus.
The role reports to the Director, Global Clinical Innovation and Skin Evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the department’s digital transformation strategy in collaboration with leadership.
* Analyze clinical datasets to extract insights for product development.
* Create predictive models to enhance efficacy and safety.
* Design experiments and validate formulations with clinical teams.
* Draft study protocols, define efficacy criteria, and develop data dashboards.
* Ensure data quality and automate collection in partnership with vendors.
* Generate visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
* Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in data science and clinical research.
Skills & Qualifications
* Degree in Biostatistics or Engineering.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical data analysis, AI, and machine learning.
* Proficiency in Python or R, and data visualization tools like R Shiny or Power BI.
* Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
* Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory standards in cosmetics.
* Experience with healthcare digital transformation is advantageous.
* Understanding of cosmetic product development and formulation.
