As the AP Analyst, you will:
* Record and process journal entries in the accounting system.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice and expense report processing.
* Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and vendor statements, resolving discrepancies promptly.
* Support the preparation and reconciliation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including payroll accounting entries.
* Prepare and analyze financial and accounts payable reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Review and manage tax activities (monthly/quarterly withholding taxes) and tax models for the AEAT (models 111, 216, 145, 190, 296, etc.).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and procurement to obtain necessary approvals and documentation for payment processing.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
* Continuously improve accounts payable processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
* Respond to vendor inquiries and build positive relationships with suppliers.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Solid knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills; fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
* Experience with business software: Oracle Cloud HCM, Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP, or similar.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
* Experience as an Accounts Payable or Accountant Specialist (or similar role) is a plus.
* Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
