For one of our clients based in Europe, we are currently looking for a Mobile QA Engineer – iOS.
Details
* Contract Duration: 6 months with extension
* Remote work with occasional on-site team sessions in UK
Responsibilities
* Creating, implementing, and maintaining test plans, approaches, and strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage.
* Understanding product requirements thoroughly and raising valid questions to clarify ambiguities.
* Working closely with developers, UX designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure delivery meets specifications.
* Contributing to automated test frameworks to validate both functional and non-functional requirements.
* Troubleshooting, identifying critical bugs, verifying reported issues, and analyzing root causes.
* Producing clear, descriptive, and concise test reports evidencing product functionality.
* Keeping stakeholders informed of status, issues, and risks in a timely manner.
* Following and promoting QA best practices within the team.
Skills
* Proven experience in creating and implementing test approaches, strategies, and plans.
* Minimum 5 years testing experience with native iOS mobile applications.
* Solid understanding of mobile testing practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* At least 3 years experience in automated testing, with readiness to work using XCUITest.
* Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with developers, designers, and product owners.
* Excellent communication skills and experience in resolving cross-team issues.
* Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams, including planning, executing, and reporting on test strategies.
* Experience configuring and running jobs in Continuous Integration tools (e.g., CodeBuild, GitHub Actions).
* Proficiency in Swift programming for mobile test automation.
* Experience with Pact contract testing.
* Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
