Position Overview:
The Process Control Manager oversees inventory management, logistics, materials forecasting, shipping and receiving, work orders, and kitting operations. This role ensures efficient and accurate material flow throughout the production process, supporting manufacturing, engineering, and program delivery timelines. It requires a hands-on leader skilled in optimizing warehouse operations, implementing lean initiatives, and enhancing supply chain effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and implement Inversion’s inventory ERP/MRP system and work order standards from the ground up.
* Manage inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and high accuracy through audits and cycle counts.
* Lead logistics operations, including inbound/outbound shipping, transportation, and warehouse workflow optimization.
* Develop materials forecasting models to support production schedules and reduce shortages.
* Supervise shipping and receiving, ensuring inbound inspections, documentation compliance (including hazmat/MSDS), and timely processing.
* Manage work order creation, tracking, and fulfillment to ensure material availability and accurate ERP transactions.
* Oversee kitting and de-kitting processes to support production lines, ensuring complete, quality-checked kits are delivered to the floor.
Qualifications:
* 12+ years of experience in inventory, logistics, shipping/receiving, and materials management within manufacturing or aerospace sectors.
* Hands-on expertise with ERP/MRP systems for inventory and work order management.
* Proven success leading warehouse teams in manufacturing environments.
* Experience in aerospace or defense industries, with familiarity with traceability requirements.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, thriving in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
Preferred:
* Experience establishing AS9100 certifications.
* Certifications in supply chain, logistics, or lean operations (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
Our headquarters is located in Playa Vista, CA. This role requires in-office presence.
The California annual base salary ranges from $130,000 to $170,000, determined by role, level, location, and market data. Compensation will be tailored based on individual skills, experience, certifications, and internal equity.
