CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist

This hybrid role combines hands-on Mautic expertise with multichannel Campaigns and Customer Success coordination across clients, internal developers, and the CEO. You will be responsible for technical marketing operations, maintaining campaigns, and delivering value for our managed deliverability and ESP offerings.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the Mautic stack: installations, upgrades, plugins, security. SSH into servers to audit and tune cronjobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups) with Dev-OP. Identify and fix misconfigurations like duplicate triggers or missing messenger consume workers.
* Query Amazon Athena (SQL) on our engagement_daily table to validate KPIs and craft ad-hoc insight reports, coordinating with Dev-OPs. Monitor deliverability using tools like InboxTracker, Litmus & MXToolBox, aiming to keep inbox placement above 95%.
* Integrate Mautic with client websites, e-commerce, CDP, BI, and ad platforms via API/Webhooks.

Customer Success & Coordination

* Act as the primary Success contact for assigned accounts: schedule stand-ups, gather requirements, translate into tickets, and track SLAs.
* Coordinate hand-offs between the dev team, CEO, PM, and clients; ensure expectations, blockers, and ETAs are clear.
* Present weekly performance dashboards highlighting growth metrics and next steps.
* Capture client feedback and convert it into backlog items or optimization ideas.

Project Prioritization & Growth

* Co-own JIRA boards with the CEO, prioritizing tasks to maximize ROI.
* Run experiments like subject-line tests and segment rollouts, measuring lift.
* Prospect and scope new customers fitting our profile of 10+ million emails/month.

Minimum Qualifications

* 2–4 years CRM/Marketing Automation experience, with at least 1 year as the primary Mautic owner.
* Proficiency in SQL (Amazon Athena), Linux CLI (cron, bash scripting), and customer-facing communication.
* Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to iterate quickly.
* Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) and optional experience with tools like Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable.

Success Milestones (30/60/90 days)

* 30 days: Create and configure a new sending domain, document the process, and coordinate with the client.
* 60 days: Own customer success for one client, demonstrating consistent growth and proactive management.
* 90 days: Manage 3 clients end-to-end with minimal intervention and identify new customer opportunities.
