A UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, compliant, and engaging web applications for managing connected access control systems. You will help shape a responsive, cloud-hosted IoT platform that enables remote monitoring and control of automatic doors and access points, in compliance with IEC60839 and security standards.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct user research and journey mapping related to access control and building security management.Design scalable, responsive web interfaces for desktop and tablet devices.Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes using Figma.Extend and apply design systems and UI libraries, ensuring consistency with brand and accessibility guidelines.Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to define system interfaces.Perform usability testing and iterate based on feedback and analytics.Ensure designs meet IEC60839 functional expectations, including logging, door control, and auditability.Design for real-time IoT environments, handling edge cases and connection states.Document UX decisions and participate in agile processes.Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in UX, Interaction Design, HCI, or related fields.At least 5 years designing web applications, preferably for B2B SaaS or IoT.Strong responsive UI/UX principles knowledge.Experience with Figma.Understanding of REST APIs, event-driven UI, and real-time UX.Knowledge of authentication, role-based access, and user activity auditing.Experience with cloud applications focusing on latency, security, and observability.Applications from individuals with disability certificates are welcome.What do we offer?
