Founded in 1990 by Mark Fenwick and Javier Iribarren, it is an internationally recognized, multi-disciplinary architectural design studio that has gained particular experience in sporting construction and stadiums, including projects such as RCD Espanyol football stadium and the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup stadiums, most significantly, the demountable 974 Stadium. FIA has set the standard in the commercial office sector, with projects including Helios, awarded with the AEO office build of the year 2020, Torre Espacio and more recently Caleido, two of the few skyscrapers built in Spain. Job Description
We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Project Manager to join the team to work on diverse projects both locally and internationally. You will be responsible for the onward design and delivery of these projects, and as such should have demonstrable experience in taking a lead role, successfully delivering high performing projects, engaging with external and internal stakeholders, and communicating effectively with all parties. The role holder will possess a strong background in project management, with a particular focus on sports facilities and architectural design. They will oversee the delivery of sports project designs, ensuring at all times client relationships and deliverables are met in accordance with FIA and its design and delivery philosophy to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will be responsible for resource allocation and other systems necessary for the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, the role will also assist with optimizing financial performance on a project-by-project basis through close collaboration with Project Directors / Finance controllers.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 10 years professional experience
* Registered architect COAM or equivalent in Spain
* Strong knowledge of project management software and tools
* Experience managing project budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with goals
* REVIT experience preferred
* Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft letters, reports, presentations and proposals in clear articulate Spanish and English is essential
* Excellent oral skills in Spanish and English are essential; knowledge of Arabic or French would be very positive.
* Excellent management skills required for the coordination of the architectural team, other disciplines, external consultants and the client team
* Must have EU work permit
