We have a diverse team of over 250 full-time team members working remotely or from one of our seven integral locations—Canada, the USA, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, India, and our company headquarters in Poland.**The Role**:In the role of Localization Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of projects from beginning to end.You’ll keep track of deadlines, budget, QA, and staffing. If you’re someone who loves to work with a team and can keep all the balls in the air, we would love to hear from you!You’ll be working on the Localization team, handling localization and translation projects for a major technology company client.This is a full-time remote role, meaning you can work from anywhere in the world!**You’ll get to**:- Manage localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with language specialists, localization engineers, terminologists, product management and development, internal business partners, external vendors, and other departments- Ensure project deliveries meet deadlines, are on budget, and meet release quality criteria- Develop project plans and workflows, manage time, budget, resources, and quality control- Create and manage the internal versions of localization project plans- Analyze project risks, and define/execute mitigation plans as needed- Assign, monitor, and measure project team members’ work- Manage team’s compliance with standards and best practices- Maximize utilization of team and prepare alternative work for periods without projects and/or billable work for direct reports**Qualifications**:- 4 years of project management experience, preferably in the localization industry- Experience in web design, eLearning, subtitles, and InDesign- Experience in customer service and dealing with clients- Good communicator in written and spoken English- Proficient in translation memory tools (Trados, SDLX, GlobalSight)- Experience with Globalization Management Systems, such as SDL TMS**Bonus qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in localization, business, or linguistics- In-depth knowledge of internationalization and localization- Fluency in a non-English language- Ability to create macros or other task automations- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, lookup tables, etc.)**You are**:- A problem solver - You’re able to foresee potential problems ahead of time.
