As a Risk Management Expert (m/f/d), your responsibility will be the alignment and optimization of our global operational and strategic enterprise risk management approach to ensure that the organization acts in accordance with legal requirements (e.g., §1 StaRuG). You will work with your lead to select and implement a suitable risk management tool globally. You will guide and train regional and local stakeholders to identify, document, and manage risks, and establish regular and comprehensive risk reporting for management.
Responsibilities:
* Rework, align, and optimize current risk management approaches within TecAlliance.
* Identify, monitor, control, and manage the mitigation of corporate risks.
* Support the team lead in selecting, implementing, and rolling out a suitable risk management / GRC software globally.
* Define risk management parameters with management for analyzing and categorizing risks and managing risk efforts (e.g., thresholds, risk-bearing capacities, risk coverage potential).
* Create risk management and scenario analyses for ad hoc requests or projects such as new business opportunities or M&A activities, followed by recommendations to management.
* Support the design and introduction of new guidelines and procedures for risk management, including explanations of related guidelines.
* Own risk management education and consultancy for risk owners and responsible persons.
* Establish regular and comprehensive risk management reporting.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field focusing on finance, controlling, auditing, or accounting; Master’s degree is a plus.
* 5+ years of professional experience in internal control systems, risk management, auditing, or process analysis and optimization.
* Solid knowledge of risk management and GRC software, including risk assessment and aggregation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of business processes.
* Independent, structured, detail-oriented, goal-focused, and well-organized working style.
* Effective team player with strong communication skills, intercultural competence, and a solution-oriented mindset.
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
* Business fluency in German and English, both written and spoken (B2 level or higher).
* Willingness to travel occasionally.
