AkensNordburg is looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f) for an international company that develops and commercializes trenchless systems to liaise with water network operators, engineering firms, and contractors. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing engineered solutions for trenchless renovation of pressure pipes in Spain and Portugal. The successful candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in Business Development within the trenchless industry in Spain/Portugal, with a strong technical background in construction and cultural sensitivity to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders. The position reports directly to the Director of Business Development Europe based in Germany.Responsibilities include:
Educate network operators and engineering firms about trenchless rehabilitationProvide engineering support for design, planning, scheduling, and execution of pressure pipe rehab projectsCreate technical specifications and quotations in collaboration with the Head OfficeAssist during all project phases, including on-site supervisionPresent the company and products at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and road showsIdentify channels to promote products and meet sales targetsManage certified partners within the territoryPreferred qualifications:
Civil Engineer (or related) with at least 5 years of experience in trenchless pipe rehabilitationStrong communication skills to liaise with engineering firms, contractors, and network operatorsProven sales record in the construction industryFluent in Spanish and English;
Portuguese is a plusStructured, analytical, self-motivated, and result-orientedWilling to travel within Spain/Portugal and occasionally to GermanyLoyalty and integrity demonstrated in previous rolesWorkplace:
The candidate will work remotely, preferably in Madrid or surroundings, with regular travel within Spain and Portugal. Occasional travel to Germany for meetings.Offer:
