The role involves developing new algorithms and derivative datasets that leverage the spatial nature of data to produce more accurate insights and predictions via CARTO’s spatial analytics platform. You will also collaborate with external clients to solve their spatial data science problems and contribute new functionalities to CARTO as a platform. A focus will be on adapting existing machine learning methods for spatial data and exploring new methods from spatial econometrics, machine learning, and Geospatial AI (GeoAI).The position is open to remote work, preferably within the Central European Time zone.
