Greet guests warmly upon arrival, using their names whenever possible.Answer telephone inquiries courteously and efficiently, adhering to departmental standards.Assist in controlling the outlet's operational budget to maximize profitability.Inspect and maintain the condition and cleanliness of menus and wine lists, updating as necessary.Participate in regular meetings and briefings to stay informed about policies, procedures, events, and guest feedback.Prepare and present drinks according to menu specifications, using appropriate glassware.Ensure prompt, efficient, and high-quality service of all beverages.Understand guest preferences and tailor service accordingly.Prepare mise en place for cocktails and drinks prior to service.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.Stay informed about all products, equipment, and operational procedures related to the bar.Recommend and promote menu items to guests as directed.Exhibit excellent social skills and professionalism at all times.Report maintenance issues promptly.Upsell menu items when appropriate, based on menu prices and guest preferences.Ensure accurate billing and guest satisfaction during checkout.Maintain guest history files and accommodate special requests and allergies.Prepare and submit operational reports punctually.Keep all equipment clean and in good working order.Adhere to Six Senses standards and exceed performance benchmarks.Follow LQA standards and respond to guest comments effectively.Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.Qualifications:
I possess the necessary qualifications, technical skills, and experience in luxury hotel environments, including a minimum hospitality diploma or degree from a recognized institution and over one year of relevant experience. I am skilled in cocktail-making, beverage service, and garnishing, with excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.I am a proactive, organized, and guest-focused host with a passion for excellence and an understanding of the needs of luxury clientele. I am capable of working in a diverse, cross-cultural environment.Technical skills include proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with hotel systems such as MICROS. I understand food and beverage terminology, operations, wine service, menu development, hygiene standards, and inventory control.
