Mission :
Project Manager effective in leading and managing projects from concept and design to implementation, testing, and handover. Implementing management skills and technical knowledge to complete projects accurately, on time, and within budget, achieving revenue performance targets.
Project types :
Substations, Medium and Low Voltage Equipment and Facilities such as Electrical Distribution, Infrastructure, Data centers, and Industry.
Main responsibilities of the position include :
* Leading execution teams and all project stages, including resource identification and responsibility definition.
* Reviewing technical documentation to optimize solutions and ensure customer requirements are met.
* Deciding on technical comments raised by the customer.
* Leading kickoff meetings with customers, factories, and subcontractors.
* Monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery.
* Using tracking tools to proactively prevent schedule slippages.
* Reporting project status and progress to management.
* Analyzing risks and opportunities, and mitigating potential issues affecting project performance.
* Managing customer communication to meet their requirements and increase satisfaction.
* Collaborating with purchasing on subcontract negotiations, including terms, quality, and price.
* Interfacing with international factories and subcontractors, monitoring delivery times, costs, and quality.
* Achieving margin improvements and budgeted results.
* Conducting regular project reviews and providing best estimates for margin at completion.
* Managing variation orders and claims for both customers and suppliers.
* Overseeing project closure and transfer to Field Services.
Knowledge and Experience :
Technical Engineering degree or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Distribution. PMI/Project Management certifications are valuable. Minimum 5 years of experience in :
* Electrical Distribution Substation engineering and execution.
* Project Management.
* Execution of MV/LV electrical installations.
* Protection and control systems for electrical distribution.
* Experience in Data Center applications is advantageous.
