Job Overview:
Lead the implementation of the new Franchise business model in Spain. Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with Franchise partners. Ensure consistent delivery of the Clarks Brand Proposition in line with the Franchise Agreement and Operations Manual. Drive brand growth through the Franchise store channel across Spain and Europe. Identify, recruit, and onboard new Franchisees, supporting the opening of new stores.Core Accountabilities:
Oversee the 12-month implementation and testing phase of the new Franchise business model. Drive profitable and sustainable growth of Franchise stores across Spain and Europe, aligned with Clarks’ Brand and Merchandising framework. Deliver sustainable earnings for Franchisees while achieving budgeted Channel Trading Profit. Ensure consistent execution of the Clarks Brand Proposition across all Franchise operations. Monitor and enforce compliance with the Franchise Agreement and Operations Manual. Support Franchisees in developing financial trading projections and cash flow planning. Proactively identify and develop new commercial opportunities, including the recruitment of new Franchisees and expansion of the Franchise network. Ensure Franchise business plans and Annual Operating Plans are completed and regularly reviewed. Manage and nurture commercial relationships with Franchisees and their teams. Regularly assess personal performance using agreed KPIs and Clarks’ competency frameworks. Take a proactive, data-driven approach to decision-making, ensuring delivery against budget targets.Key Outputs/Results:
Establishment of a sustainable and high-performing Franchise network across Spain and Europe. Structured business and store visits to support regional and channel trading profit. Protection and enhancement of the Clarks brand reputation through effective relationship management. A profitable and viable Franchise network with managed risk profiles for both Clarks and its partners. Successful recruitment of new Franchisees and opening of new stores, along with the strategic refitting, relocation, or closure of existing stores as needed. Strategic management of the Franchise channel in alignment with Clarks’ brand framework and integration with wholesale and eCommerce channels. Strong commercial partnerships with Franchisees that ensure consistent delivery of the Clarks Brand Proposition. Build a commercial relationship with Franchise Businesses to effectively deliver a consistent Brand Proposition.Essential Skills:
