The Instructional designer manager is responsible for project management, document design, providing insight, analysis, and recommendations to colleagues within GTIL and member firms as well as relevant administration. This role will be will be responsible for the instructional design of leadership development programs for professionals in our network.

The Instructional designer manager works across specialist areas which depending on focus may include culture, diversity, coaching, leadership and learning and projects. Culture is our network’s biggest differentiator and a powerful accelerator of strategy execution. Culture begins with leadership and must align with the network’s strategic focus. This role supports the strategic objective which aims to develop our adaptive, agile, collaborative and entrepreneurial culture to build trust and confidence between member firms and support the network’s sustainable growth.

This is a temporal global role (8 month contract) and requires meeting with people in multiple time zones and requires flexibility in working hours.

Main Responsibilities

Instructional design (including document creation), project management and contribution to projects within the Leadership programmes team.
Design, develop and document leadership programmes for professionals at all levels of the organization
Create eLearning using Articulate Storyline
Conduct assessments if required to give input on leadership development needs
Design processes, learning modules, communications, research papers, reports and other documents as required to support the work of the P&C team
Provide analysis, interpretation, observations, recommendations, and action planning based on information relating to P&C projects
Develop and implement projects on a variety of leadership, culture, and organizational effectiveness topics in line with the network strategy
Partner with internal and member firm teams to ensure deliverables are high quality and on time.

Person Specification

Effective stakeholder engagement in support of GTIL’s convening role
Proactively improve P&C deliverables to maximize value to the business and stakeholders
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Strong relationship skills and cultural awareness, the ability to work well with people from different disciplines and cultures
Strong written and oral communication skills
English is critical for this role. Any additional languages would be highly valued.

Experience - essential
Proven track records of successful delivery of projects and/or L&D programmes
L&D and eLearning design experience, including document creation.
Proven experience with Articulate Storyline
Proven ability to work across multiple projects and workstreams at the same time
Ability to be agile, respond positively to change and contribute with an innovative and global mindset
Proven ability to liaise with senior stakeholders

Experience - desirable
Previous experience of working within a global professional services environment with international stakeholders
