Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned tax and inheritance expert with proven experience handling Spanish tax filings for foreign inheritances, particularly from the United States.
The ideal candidate will also be capable of advising on cross-border taxation implications, including any related Swiss and U.S. income and estate sources, as relevant.
Scope of Engagement :
* Urgent guidance and filing of Modelo 650 or equivalent.
* Assessment of income classification and foreign asset reporting related to U.S.-originated distributions and estate settlements.
* Strategic input on real estate, trust disbursements, and bank transfer documentation for compliance and minimization of tax exposure.
* Optional : Advise on long-term cross-border tax positioning involving Spanish residency, U.S. estate income, and possible Swiss accounts.
Ideal Profile :
* Licensed tax advisor, inheritance lawyer, or senior associate at a high-level Spanish firm.
* Demonstrable experience with international estates, non-resident tax planning, and U.S.-Spain tax treaties.
* Clear communication and documentation style in English. Catalan / Spanish fluency is a plus.
* Preferably worked with clients from expat, UHNW, or family office backgrounds.
* Independent professional, not seeking full-time employment.
