Atlantis Animation is seeking a seasoned Compositing Supervisor based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. The position is part of the Messi and the Giants project, a general Disney/Sony series.
Role Overview
Lead the compositing department, ensuring high‑quality visual effects, pipeline efficiency, and artistic consistency. Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, CG Supervisor, and Producer.
Responsibilities
- Translate creative briefs into compositing workflows, setting artistic vision.
- Manage complex shot execution and maintain visual continuity across episodes.
- Develop and maintain Nuke scripts, gizmos, and pipeline tools.
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks with CG and support teams.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, assigning shots based on strengths.
- Conduct daily reviews and client presentations, translating feedback into technical actions.
- Document workflows for onboarding and consistency.
- Track performance and ensure quality on every frame.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of professional compositing experience, with a track record in lead or supervisory roles.
- Expert mastery of Foundry Nuke.
- Proficiency in Python scripting.
- Strong artistic eye for composition, color theory, lighting, and mood.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Valid EU/Spanish work permit; available to work 100% on‑site starting June 2026.
