Job Description
A large community of Solutions Engineers across EMEA engages the COE team in various activities, including answering tenders, customizing demos, building prototypes, and supporting partners and customers. Comprehensive training programs in technical skills and SaaS applications will prepare you to support field organizations across EMEA.
This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in applications, business, and sales communication within a dynamic, multilingual team.
As an HCM solution engineer, you will provide functional expertise during the sales process, especially in configuring demonstrations and responding to tenders (RFXs). You will develop broad expertise in business, product, technical skills, customer interaction, and IT market knowledge. Successful engineers combine product expertise with business acumen and can grow into various IT and non-IT roles. They act as trusted advisors within the Solution Engineering ecosystem and as business partners within the sales community.
Business Skills :
* Understanding of HR business processes such as Personnel Administration, Recruitment, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Training, Payroll.
* Experience in a business role, preferably with HR applications like PeopleSoft, Taleo, E-Business Suite, Fusion, or similar.
* Ability to translate HR requirements into functional solutions.
* Ability to articulate the value of HCM features tailored to different buyer personas.
* Basic understanding of AI / ML concepts and how AI is used in HCM domains, with the ability to demonstrate AI-powered features.
* Strong understanding of HR processes and their translation into HCM systems.
* Eagerness to learn new products quickly, as Oracle offers a broad and growing portfolio.
Non-Technical Skills :
* Excellent communication skills, clear and diplomatic messaging.
* Openness to work with diverse languages and cultures.
* Results-oriented and committed to quality.
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
* Ability to work effectively in virtual teams across different countries.
Languages :
* Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
* Fluency in a second language is a plus.
