Offer Description
We are looking for a Research Assistant for the URBANE project of the URBANLOG group.
The European URBANE project focuses on the development and implementation of innovative solutions for green logistics, with a special focus on technologies that enable automatic data capture during last mile deliveries using zero emission systems.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of graphical materials.
* GIS mapping.
* Use of the models created by the project (Digital Twin and Impact Radar Assessment) to obtain KPIs.
* Revision of report contents according to the coordinators' indications.
The successful candidate will be awarded a temporary employment contract until 28 February 2026 on a full-time basis, with an expected start in September.
The reference headquarters will be located at 22@, Rambla del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona. However, at the UOC we work with an open work model that combines teleworking with face-to-face work, depending on organisational needs and the nature of the tasks.
What kind of profile are we looking for?
* Degree in civil engineering, architecture, geography or similar.
* 2 years of experience performing tasks similar to those described in the offer.
* Knowledge of urban planning.
* Knowledge of mobility and transport planning and management.
* Knowledge in Geographic Information Systems.
* Knowledge in tools related to Big data.
* Written and oral communication skills in Catalan, Spanish and English level C1.

* Residence in Barcelona to be able to work in a hybrid way, coming to the headquarters 2 times a week.
* Knowledge of the UOC's educational model, structure, systems and processes.
