Senior Key Account Manager (Berlin | Remote (regular traveling to Berlin))
I’m currently working with a client in the open banking / open finance space who are building a SaaS platform that enables financial data to be used in a more meaningful and compliant way. They’re already working with a number of well-known banks and enterprises across Europe and are now looking to strengthen their commercial team in Berlin.
They’re hiring a Senior Key Account Manager who can take ownership of a portfolio of existing clients across the DACH region and drive further growth within those accounts.
This role sits at the intersection of relationship management and commercial ownership — so someone who is comfortable managing senior stakeholders, but also proactive when it comes to identifying upsell and expansion opportunities.
What you’d be doing
- Managing and growing a portfolio of enterprise and SME clients across DACH
- Building long-term relationships with key decision-makers and acting as a trusted partner
- Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the product suite
- Defining account strategies and driving expansion within existing customers
- Leading commercial discussions around renewals and contract extensions
- Working closely with product, marketing and support teams to represent client needs internally
- Keeping track of account performance, pipeline and revenue forecasts
What they’re looking for
- ~5+ years of experience in SaaS sales or key account management
- Ideally some exposure to fintech, financial services or a regulated environment
- Strong track record in growing accounts (NRR / expansion revenue)
- Comfortable selling and managing complex solutions with senior stakeholders
- Structured, analytical way of working with good time management
- Fluent in German and English (both at a high level); Spanish is a nice-to-have
- Someone proactive, commercially driven, and collaborative
