We’re seeking a Spanish-speaking Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our high-performing EMEA sales team in Barcelona. This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing global company, helping HR and business leaders expand their workforce across borders.

As our Business Development Representative, you’ll be at the forefront of driving Safeguard Global’s growth across Spain and the wider EMEA region. This is your opportunity to make a real impact. Identifying high-potential opportunities, sparking meaningful conversations, and opening doors with HR, Finance, and C-suite leaders.

You won’t just be booking meetings, you’ll be shaping our pipeline, uncovering real business challenges, and positioning our general employment solutions as the answer.

Working closely with our Account Executives, Marketing, and Partnerships teams, you’ll play a key role in building momentum, creating demand, and generating new business opportunities that power our continued growth. ?

- Drive new business growth by proactively prospecting and qualifying leads through outbound channels (calls, emails, social) and following up on inbound interest.
\n
- Engage and influence Spanish-speaking HR, Finance, and Operations leaders, uncovering their challenges and positioning Safeguard Global’s solutions as the answer.
\n
- Partner closely with Account Executives to build targeted account strategies and ensure seamless handover of high-quality opportunities.
\n
- Fuel the top of the funnel by leveraging marketing campaigns, events, and partner channels to generate demand and pipeline.
\n
- Own your pipeline data, keeping Salesforce up to date and providing clear visibility into performance and pipeline health.
\n
- Hit (and exceed) your targets, delivering against monthly KPIs for meetings, opportunities, and revenue contribution.
\n
- Continuously level up your skills by embracing feedback, coaching, and collaboration to refine your outreach and maximise impact.

What will make you stand out

- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within B2B SaaS, HR Tech, or global workforce solutions—bringing a strong understanding of how to generate and qualify opportunities.
\n
- Fluent Spanish speaker with strong English skills, confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders across regions.
\n
- A natural communicator, able to build rapport quickly, deliver compelling messages, and engage decision-makers with confidence.
\n
- Driven, curious, and resilient, with a genuine hunger to hit—and exceed—targets.
\n
- Highly organised and adaptable, comfortable managing multiple conversations and opportunities at once in a fast-paced environment.
\n
- Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM systems like Salesforce and sales engagement tools to stay efficient and data-driven.

- Based in Barcelona or Madrid, with the flexibility to thrive in a hybrid or remote setup.
