A profitable, fast-growing SaaS company in the logistics technology space, built entirely on Salesforce and trusted by global enterprises with multi-million contracts, is expanding its technical team and looking for a Salesforce Technical Lead & Architect to play a key role in shaping the future of its platform architecture. This is a high-impact position where the successful candidate will define how the Salesforce ecosystem is built, scaled, and evolved. 🚀
Opportunity
The company is seeking a Salesforce expert who thinks beyond the “Org” and understands that great architecture is about long-term scalability, not just solving today’s issues. The person in this role will act as the architectural reference for the Salesforce platform, defining standards, frameworks, modularization strategy, and technical best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
* Architectural Vision: Designing and evolving a modular, scalable, high-performance architecture.
* Technical Leadership: Mentoring a strong team of Salesforce developers and promoting a culture of clean code and engineering excellence.
* Engineering Standards: Defining internal frameworks, shared libraries, and development best practices.
* Packaging Strategy: Leading the transition toward modular architectures using Unlocked Packages and Managed Packages (2GP).
* DevOps & CI/CD: Owning deployment pipelines, version control strategy, and release automation.
* Cross-team Collaboration: Working closely with Product and Architecture stakeholders to align technology with business strategy.
🧠 What the Company Is Looking For
Required
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Visualforce).
* 2+ years in a technical leadership, staff engineer, or architecture role.
* Experience designing scalable architectures and shared components.
Strong Technical Skills
* SFDX, Dev Hub, Salesforce Metadata Model.
* Packaging experience (Unlocked / Managed Packages).
* CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
* SOLID principles and interface‑oriented design.
* Experience building internal frameworks used across multiple teams.
Nice to Have
* Open‑source contributions or involvement in technical communities.
* Salesforce CTA certification (or active progress toward CTA).
The ideal candidate is:
* A strategic thinker with a long‑term architectural mindset.
* A strong mentor who genuinely enjoys developing other engineers.
* A clear communicator able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
