Define the global strategy of the Life Science business through the development and execution of commercial plans that ensure business development as well as the achievement of sales and profitability objectives established in the annual budget, with the support of a commercial team, reporting directly and/or functionally assigned.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Align with the company's objectives to propose, develop, and achieve commercial goals, manage expenses, and meet financial targets of the annual budget for the Life Science market, ensuring continuous value creation for Caldic Ibérica.
* Promote the development of the Health and Food markets according to the company's global strategy, considering industry trends and potentials both nationally and across subsidiaries.
* Supervise the responsibilities of the direct commercial team in Iberia to ensure strategy implementation, management model adherence, commercial process compliance, NOF tracking, and KPI setting align with Caldic Ibérica's strategy.
* Collaborate on establishing pricing and margin policies by market and industry with the Director of Marketing & Business Development and General Management, ensuring compliance by the commercial teams.
* Assist in improving financial and operational parameters, focusing on customer credit, working capital needs, inventory levels, and payment negotiations.
* Lead, develop, and manage change within the commercial team, fostering motivation and adaptation to new methodologies, market trends, and business approaches.
* Implement and promote commercial plans, understanding the market potential, and maintaining key relationships and communication channels.
* Ensure effective use and monitoring of internal processes and business tools by the commercial team for decision-making support.
* Interpret customer requirements, manage expectations, and coordinate internal resources to align with company strategy and commercial plans.
* Stimulate and develop market demand for products/applications within the company's portfolio to enhance growth and profitability.
* Build networks, create professional alliances, and promote the company's brand.

* MBA ESADE / IESE
Knowledge:
* Master's / Postgraduate in commercial and marketing

* CRM tools (preferably Salesforce)
Experience:
* Over 5 years as Commercial Director, Marketing Director, or Business Development Director in chemical sector distribution or manufacturing, with extensive knowledge and experience in specialties.
