Job Description: Bartender at Hotel Arts Barcelona
Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems. Issue, open, and serve wine and champagne bottles. Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and tools. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Transport supplies to the bar setup area. Wash soiled glassware and remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables, placing them in designated areas. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. Process all payment methods, count the bank at the end of each shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Complete closing duties and follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager. Complete safety training and certifications. Ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally, develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Ensure adherence to quality standards. Read and verify information in various formats. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during the shift. Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, perform fine motor tasks, navigate narrow or uneven spaces, and reach overhead or below the knees as needed. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
Requisitos :
Education : High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience : At least 1 year of relevant experience.
