At Salas Montalvo, a firm specialised in executive headhunting, we are currently seeking a Finance Director for an international industrial company undergoing a phase of growth and professionalisation.
The company is currently immersed in a process of organisational development and transformation, operating in a dynamic environment that demands strategic financial leadership, a results-oriented mindset, and a global vision.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the General Management and with access to the Board of Directors, your main duties will include :
* Overseeing the group’s financial and management accounting, ensuring reliable monthly and annual closings.
* Consolidating the financial statements of the various companies within the group.
* Coordinating the annual external audit.
* Preparing the annual budget and leading its follow-up through management control, profitability analysis by customer and product, and monitoring financial and operational KPIs.
* Managing day-to-day treasury operations and structured finance obligations, maintaining a solid relationship with financial institutions.
* Handling the financial oversight and reconciliation of international subsidiaries.
* Actively participating in the implementation of a new ERP system.
* Overseeing international financial operations and working with multiple currencies.
* Leading a consolidated finance team, working closely with external tax and labour advisors.
Candidate Requirements
* University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
* Proven experience as Finance Director or Financial Controller within B2B industrial and export-oriented companies.
* In-depth knowledge of industrial cost structures : cost breakdowns, margins, internal allocation rates, and bills of materials.
* Solid background in group financial consolidation and debt management.
* Experience in international business environments is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in financial management and analytical tools.
* High level of English, with regular exposure to international working environments.
* Strong analytical profile with a clear focus on results.
* Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
* Ambitious, energetic and highly motivated to take on new challenges.
* Adaptable and collaborative, with strong team-working skills.
* Proactive in adopting emerging technologies to improve departmental and cross-functional processes.
