Our Solution Engineering Team (Pre Sales) utilizes a range of technical skills, industry knowledge, and value storytelling to help our customers build their cloud journeys. In partnership with sales, we collaborate with our customers to inspire them with innovative solutions that drive outstanding benefits and ROI into their businesses.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
1. Manage a multidisciplinary Solution Engineering team focused on Industry value propositions & customer/consultative storytelling to drive results in Continental Europe.
2. Lead the transformation of our Solution Engineering activities, mastering the ‘Art & the Science’ of Pre-Sales. Standardize our tools to ensure efforts are repeatable and responsive to customer needs, allowing time to innovate our offerings to be continuously more relevant and result-oriented.
3. Proactively identify customers for focused pursuits and partner with Sales leadership to drive the value story into each customer stakeholder map, generate engagement at all levels, and achieve results.
4. Drive and inspire the strategic growth of the region with a higher local purpose and alignment, as well as a deep understanding of geographic and industry market needs.
5. Engage multiple cross-functional resources pertaining to customer needs and product enhancements.
6. Manage hiring needs and the performance of the team members.
WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED?
1. The ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of technical and value-based pre-sales specialists and managers across different regions within Europe.
2. Excellent communication, storytelling, and impactful presentation skills.
3. Ability to become a trusted partner to customers and peers, articulating business benefits and the value of technical solutions.
4. Consultative selling abilities and high customer empathy.
5. Resilience, positivity, and good judgment in the face of uncertainty.
6. Results-driven with a “can do” attitude and a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
15 years of experience in Pre-Sales as a leader
1. Proven track record of advising customers on decisions and directions with industry best practice solutions.
2. Good knowledge of SaaS applications and how they support both Corporate IT & Business objectives.
3. Sales methodology knowledge, including consultative value selling.
4. Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent.
5. Fluent in English (additional European language is a plus).
6. Willingness to travel within Continental Europe 30-50% of the time.
