The resort is located near La Santa village on the north-western coast of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. It is an English-speaking resort with the majority of guests from Denmark, United Kingdom, and Germany.
Work and responsibilities
Working as a tennis and/or a padel instructor at Club La Santa, you will be part of the racket sports team consisting of 7-8 instructors. Your main responsibility will be teaching tennis and padel instructions for groups and individuals. Your tasks include coordinating tournaments and teaching all levels of tennis and/or padel in groups of around 12 people. You should be able to teach classes focusing on serving, doubles tactics, volleys, forehand/backhand. Additionally, within the racket sport team, you will offer personal instructions (PIs) focusing on technical and tactical development. During high season or special occasions, you may also team teach with colleagues. You might also teach badminton, table tennis, or squash, providing guests with the best experience.
Within the Green Team, you may be required to work in other areas such as Sports Booking, morning runs, events, or evening entertainment. Your schedule will be versátil and varied. You will report directly to the In-Charge of racket sports in Lanzarote and be part of a team of about 60 sports instructors, within a larger operation of over 450 colleagues across three countries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in tennis or padel.
- Preferred: Experience in other racket sports like squash, badminton, or table tennis.
- Fluent in English; secondary proficiency in Spanish and/or Danish is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, able to give clear instructions and adapt body language, tone, and technical focus according to the age group and context.
- Curious and open-minded, interested in learning and sharing knowledge about current trends in tennis and padel.
- Diligent, committed to high standards, and eager to develop skills through workshops and team activities.
- Team-oriented, capable of giving and receiving feedback, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Responsible and self-motivated, with good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills, adaptable, and able to maintain organized racket areas and equipment.
