As a Compliance Specialist AI, in COMPLIANCE DEP your role will be
. Role Overview
The Compliance Specialist AI supports the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of controls related to Machine Learning systems, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and internal policies.
The Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify risks, assess and enhance controls, evaluate datasets, and support responsible teams across the organization.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in implementing compliance controls that align with general requirements.
- Support the documentation, review, and maintenance of AI products such as the fraud detection model and decision engine system.
- Conduct assessments for new or existing AI models and tools.
- Evaluate risks related to data quality, model performance, bias, and human oversight.
- Support the development of risk mitigation plans and monitor control effectiveness.
Monitoring
- Assist in reviewing model documentation, including testing and validation reports.
- Support ongoing monitoring activities such as drift detection, and periodic compliance reviews.
- Ensure evidence and audit trails are properly maintained.
Issue Management & Remediation
- Identify control gaps or regulatory deficiencies in AI workflows.
- Track remediation activities and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Prepare summaries of findings for Compliance leadership and Risk Committees.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Data Science, Information Security, and Risk teams.
- Participate in model review committees or AI governance forums.
- Support training and awareness initiatives related to responsible AI and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and metrics related to AI risk and control health.
- Maintain project documentation aligned with internal audit and regulatory expectations.
- Support responses to regulatory inquiries and internal/external audits.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, or regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts
High school graduated, college degree is a plus
Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office preferred
- 3 years Compliance Experience
