A leading European manufacturer supplying critical components into the onshore wind sector is seeking to appoint a Head of Sales, Europe.
The business has an established footprint, strong technical credibility and a growing installed base across multiple markets. As part of its next phase of growth, it is looking to strengthen its commercial leadership with a senior hire capable of shaping and delivering a pan-European sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the European sales strategy across core markets including DACH, Nordics, Southern and Eastern Europe
- Lead, develop and manage a regional sales organisation, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives
- Drive revenue growth through a balanced focus on new business development and key account management
- Build and maintain senior relationships with major wind turbine OEMs, developers and strategic customers
- Identify and secure long-term framework agreements and high-value project opportunities
- Analyse market dynamics, competitor positioning and customer requirements to inform commercial strategy
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across product, engineering, operations and senior leadership
- Ensure robust pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and margin optimisation
- Represent the business at industry events, strengthening brand presence and market positioning.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role within the onshore wind sector
- Track record of selling components, systems or services into OEMs, utilities or large-scale operators
- Strong network across European wind markets, with credibility at senior stakeholder level
- Experience leading international, multi-cultural sales teams
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining close to complex, high-value sales cycles
- Commercially astute, with strong negotiation and contract management capability
- Degree-qualified in engineering, business or a related discipline is preferred
