Role Overview
The Critical Environment Manager (CEM) oversees technical management of data centers, focusing on operational efficiency and risk mitigation. Responsibilities include leading technical projects, coordinating with teams, ensuring compliance with standards such as Uptime Institute Tier and ISO 27001, and engaging with vendors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect technical data and define project roadmaps.
* Manage critical environment projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
* Identify and mitigate risks related to equipment, power, and environmental threats.
* Ensure projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Engage with vendors and monitor project performance.
* Conduct technical audits and promote continuous improvement.
* Communicate project status and performance metrics to stakeholders.
* Enforce policies related to IMS certifications, health and safety, environment, information security, and energy management.
Requirements
EU work permit required. Proven experience in managing critical data center environments and leading technical projects.
