Position Overview: As our Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for ideating and creating social-first content designed to resonate with traders and increase our engagement and impressions. You will craft and execute a dynamic social media strategy that aligns with brand goals, supports sales, and builds community. Working across all major social platforms, you’ll manage content calendars, write engaging copy, design compelling visuals, interact with followers, and track performance using robust analytics. You’ll also adapt and schedule monthly content for our Telegram and WhatsApp partner channels, collaborating closely with content creators, faculty, and the marketing leadership team.



This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who enjoys owning the full social content process—from ideation to publishing and optimization. We’re looking for someone who’s excited about shaping the voice of a new trading education brand and growing a thoughtful, ambitious community of traders. Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement

o Build and nurture relationships with followers across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)

o Monitor conversations, respond to comments and DMs, and manage online reputation

o Cultivate a sense of community and encourage user engagement

Actively engage with relevant content posted by ITI faculty and partners through ITI’s social accounts (likes, comments, shares) to increase visibility and strengthen community ties

Content Strategy & Scheduling

o Develop monthly and weekly content calendars aligned with brand goals, sales, and campaign cycles

o Collaborate with internal stakeholders to highlight events, launches, and updates

o Plan and schedule posts using a content platform that allows for tagging, scheduling, and approval workflows

Adapt and queue content for Telegram and WhatsApp partner channels, ensuring timely and brand-aligned delivery of promotional and educational posts

o Conduct ongoing research into competitors, industry trends, and relevant topics to inform and enhance social media content strategy and creation

Stay on top of emerging content formats, platform updates, and cultural/trading trends to keep our content fresh and relevant

Post Design & Visual Storytelling

o Design eye-catching and brand-consistent graphics, videos, and animations

o Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for posts across social platforms, Telegram, and WhatsApp

o Develop a range of content types including carousels, reels, quote graphics, infographic-style posts, and educational snippets

Work with writers/content developers, influencers, and faculty as needed to ensure high-quality output

o Optimize posts for engagement and platform-specific performance by tailoring visuals, copy, hashtags, post timing, and interaction style for each platform

Performance Monitoring & Analytics

* Track KPIs including reach, engagement, click-through rate, conversions, and follower growth
* Prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations for improvement
* Use data to inform and refine content strategy over time



Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably B2C and within an education-focused or mission-driven organization
* Strong knowledge of all major social platforms and their best practices & algorithm optimization
* Proven ability to drive community growth and meaningful engagement
* Graphic design experience and proficiency in relevant tools (e.g., Canva)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools
* Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and storytelling
* Comfortable with multitasking and managing shifting priorities
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple content streams simultaneously
* Can provide a portfolio showcasing social media campaigns or content you’re especially proud of



Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

* Trading experience
* Experience with paid social campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
* Video editing and short-form video production skills (Reels)
* Familiarity with messaging platforms like Telegram and WhatsApp for content distribution
* Understanding of audience segmentation and content tailoring for different trading personas
