Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepare ingredients for pizza, including grating cheese, slicing and chopping toppings such as vegetables and meats, and making fresh tomato sauces if necessary.
2. Assist in preparing ingredients for calzones, sandwiches, garlic bread, and simple pasta dishes.
3. Operate oven controls to regulate temperatures and set baking times.
4. Ensure the kitchen meets safety and health standards, maintaining cleanliness of equipment and utensils.
5. Operate and monitor baking equipment and temperature controls to ensure product quality.
6. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive Chef, as updated by Cipriani Management.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
* Require good verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.
* Ability to walk, stand, and perform essential functions for extended periods.
* Capable of bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking as needed.
* Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines under supervision.
* Auditory and visual acuity to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
