About the roleThe Risk team at Revolut plays a vital role in monitoring and ensuring the safety of our operations.They work across various areas, including functions, products, and regions, to assess performance and ensure the business operates securely.Our focus is on models that impact decision-making, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
We are seeking a Senior Model Risk Manager passionate about data, analytics, and applying ML/AI techniques in areas like computer vision, AML/ATF, and fraud detection.You will challenge and elevate our existing modelling processes. Interested? Let's get in touch.
What you'll be doing
Providing senior management and the Board Risk and Compliance Committee with key insights on material models.
Identifying improvements to modelling processes and methodologies, and assigning risk ratings.
Recommending actions to model developers to keep adverse outcomes within risk appetite.
Embedding robust model risk management practices across the model lifecycle.
Enhancing senior management's understanding of model assumptions, limitations, outputs, and overlays using multiple communication channels.
What you'll need
5+ years of experience in model validation or development in market, liquidity, or capital risk, or within finance and treasury.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Knowledge of model risk management regulations in the UK, USA, and EU.
Ability to defend validation reports before senior stakeholders.
Nice to have
Experience in banking, especially handling model risk findings with regulators and collaborating with internal audit teams.
Exposure to AI/ML model governance, explainability, or advanced analytics in financial services.
Familiarity with cloud-based model deployment and monitoring solutions.
CompensationIn Lithuania:
€5,700 - €6,000 gross monthly.For other locations, compensation will be discussed during the interview.Final salary depends on experience and qualifications.
