Join us for Ted & Paula's Tadpole Journey - a new Gigglebug original series
The 52 x 11 min 2D animated series combines action with silly cartoony comedy.
We are looking for an additional Story Artists to support our talented team. At the Gigglebug Studio, you would be part of a friendly and tight-knit team, working in collaboration with the Directors, Storyboard Supervisor, Editors, Production and all of our talented artists
The Story Artist positions are available at an Episodic -basis, so options to work from our studio in Helsinki, Las Palmas or remotely.
Under the supervision of the Storyboard Supervisor and Series Director, you will be responsible for:
* Bringing the scripts to life and translating the Director's vision to screen.
* Working on an episode from thumbnails to clean, with a clear focus on story, comedy and acting.
* Addressing Supervisor and Director's notes during storyboarding.
* Following the creative and technical guidelines and sticking the series' style and production limitations
* Making sure that the files are clearly organized for the following departments
* Working as part of a team and supporting each other when needed
Requirements
* Minimum of one Story Artist credit on a 2D animated series
* Minimum of two years' experience of working in Animation
* Strong sense of timing and storytelling - experience in comedy and action and good knowledge of story structure and film grammar.
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to take direction
* Knowledge of working on Storyboard Pro
* Ability to adapt to varying production demands and shifting priorities
* Ability to organize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
* Passion for cartoons
