The Role
We are looking for a Security Architect with a cloud-first mindset, ideally experienced in AWS environments, to lead the design and implementation of secure systems and infrastructure. You’ll be working across international teams to enhance and maintain a scalable, secure cloud and network architecture.
This role is remote, with occasional travel to Seville (approx. 3 times per year).
Key Responsibilities
* Design and maintain cloud and network security architectures, policies, and controls.
* Lead the development and implementation of cloud-first security standards, with a focus on AWS environments .
* Evaluate and implement secure solutions for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems .
* Ensure alignment of security access with organizational roles and responsibilities.
* Drive security architecture reviews and contribute to roadmap planning for upgrades and improvements.
* Collaborate with technical teams to implement tools for ZTNA, Web Proxy, CNAPP, and DLP .
* Lead or support the implementation of platforms like Zscaler, Netskope, or similar solutions.
* Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, protocols, and industry best practices.
* Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and proactive security planning.
Core Requirements
* 3–5 years of hands-on experience in information security architecture and engineering .
* Proven cloud architectural expertise, with a strong preference for AWS .
* Deep knowledge of network protocols, security infrastructure, and hardware configuration.
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of IT risks, secure system implementations, and cloud-native technologies.
* Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
* Strong command of English and Spanish (minimum B2 level in English).
Qualifications & Skills
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other relevant cloud certifications.
* Familiarity with:
* ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access)
* Web Proxy Solutions
* CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms)
* DLP (Data Loss Prevention)
* Experience with tools/platforms such as Zscaler, Netskope or other cloud security vendors
