Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef at Porvapor Nordic Spa, located in Barcelona. The Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing Nordic-inspired tapas and menus, collaborating with the culinary team to ensure the highest quality standards and an exceptional dining experience. Day-to-day tasks include menu planning, ingredient sourcing, supervising kitchen operations, ensuring hygiene and safety protocols, and collaborating with the wellness team to create a holistic wellness dining experience. Attention to detail, a passion for culinary arts, and adaptability to the multicultural environment are essential to succeed in this role.
Qualifications Experience with menu planning and food presentation techniques Kitchen management skills, including team supervision, scheduling, and quality control Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Creativity and attention to detail in designing menus aligned with the concept Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration Fluency in English (required); proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus Previous experience in high-end or luxury dining establishments is highly desirable Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification
