About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Associate to join our growing finance team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting or finance, eager to contribute to daily financial operations, reporting, and compliance within a dynamic, international environment. Responsibilities include supporting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and internal reporting.

The role is based in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Infinni Innovations is proud to be part of the Canary Islands Special Economic Zone (ZEC Canarias), a hub for technology and innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Assist in preparing financial statements, internal reports, and variance analyses
- Monitor and support accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure timely processing of expense reports and vendor payments
- Maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and controls
- Assist with audits and respond to inquiries as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is a plus
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is advantageous
Nice to Have :
- Experience in tech, fintech, or SaaS companies
- Knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax practices
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning
- Familiarity with international financial operations (multi-currency, intercompany transactions, payments)
