Our client, a Polish leading manufacturer of high-quality natural cosmetics with over 30 years of experience and a presence in over 60 countries, known for its innovation and dynamic growth in the skincare sector, is expanding. We are seeking a National Sales Manager to drive strategic sales initiatives and strengthen their market position in Spain.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Business Development, the responsibilities will include:
* Developing sales of company brands in the Spain market across traditional (offline) and modern (retail and e-commerce) channels.
* Introducing new cosmetic brands to major drugstore, pharmacy, and supermarket chains.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key buyers and distribution partners.
* Creating and implementing market entry and sales strategies tailored to local specifics and consumer expectations.
* Negotiating commercial terms with networks and local partners.
* Collaborating with marketing and trade marketing teams to plan and execute sales support activities (e.g., promotions, displays, POS campaigns).
* Monitoring sales performance, analyzing market data, and reporting to headquarters.
* Working closely with distributors or developing a distribution model in the country.
* Building and managing a local sales team.
Requirements:
* Minimum of five years' experience in the cosmetics industry in Spain, including sales management roles.
* Proven success in introducing foreign cosmetic brands to retail and parapharmacy chains in Spain.
* Excellent knowledge of the Spanish cosmetics market, including drugstore and dermocosmetic products.
* Extensive network of contacts among buyers and decision-makers at major retail chains.
* Understanding of local regulations related to cosmetics registration and sales.
* Ability to work strategically and operationally.
* High self-reliance, initiative, and goal-oriented mindset.
* Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
* Experience working with international cosmetics or distribution companies.
* Knowledge of e-commerce and collaboration with local platforms.
* Ability to create local sales budgets and forecasts.
* Representing the brand at local industry events (trade shows and conferences).
* This is a home-based position in Spain.
