We are supporting a leading asset manager on a strategic platform migration from SimCorp to Aladdin, and are looking for an Investment Guidelines Coding Analyst to join the programme.
This role will focus on the implementation, translation, and testing of investment guidelines within the BlackRock Aladdin platform, using BQL and associated tools.
You will play a key role in ensuring that portfolio constraints and compliance rules are accurately configured, supporting front-to-back investment processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate investment guidelines and mandates into system rules within Aladdin
* Develop and maintain compliance rules using BQL
* Support the migration of guidelines from SimCorp to Aladdin, ensuring consistency and accuracy
* Perform testing and validation of rules to ensure alignment with portfolio requirements
* Work closely with Compliance, Front Office, and Technology teams
* Analyse and resolve rule breaches and discrepancies
* Contribute to documentation and process improvements related to guidelines coding
Required Experience
* 2–5 years’ experience in investment compliance, guidelines coding, or a related function
* Hands‑on experience with BlackRock Aladdin
* Strong knowledge of BQL coding and rule implementation
* Understanding of investment products and asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
* Experience working on system migrations or transformation programmes
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in BQL
* Experience with investment compliance tools / coding frameworks
* Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension is a strong advantage
* Comfortable working with data analysis and rule validation
