Offer Description
The “Advanced Biofabrication for Tissue and Organ Engineering research group” team, led by Prof.
Daniel Nieto of the University of Coruña - is looking for a qualified and motivated candidate to assist on
research activities aimed to bioprinting multi-scaled vascularized functional living tissues.
The candidate will use a novel 3D biofabrication system (HOTB) to manipulate, position and bioprint
single or multiple cells with different sizes on a clinically relevant time scale (minutes). He/she will work
on organoid and lymph node tissue replication. He/she will perform biological characterization and
collaborate on animal modeling experiments (mice).

Specific Requirements
Candidate should hold a M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering. Excellent and proven knowledge of
scientific English, both in speaking, reading, and writing is required.
Your profile:
• A degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology or related fields, demonstrated by outstanding
grades.
• Additional experience in 3D printing and tissue engineering, as well as experience in cell
culture, will be a plus.
• Previous experience in biomedical research.
• Experience developing co-culture systems for various cell types.

Personal interview for candidates who score more than 70 points
between training and experience. The interview will assess both
the candidate's abilities for the position and their knowledge of the

This is a Fulltime, fixed term role based at UDC Campus. The contract will run for 36 months within the
gross salary ~ 2100€ /month.
