Engineering Manager - Wallets (100% Remote)As the Engineering Manager for our WDK and Wallets team, you will lead a cross‐functional team of SDK, Mobile and Backend developers. This role involves overseeing the development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, in a fast‐paced environment where performance and efficiency are critical.
You will report to the Head of Wallets and play a key role in advancing the non‐custodial crypto ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Own timely and high‐quality delivery of features by establishing clear milestones, conducting code reviews, and working with the project management team to track progress and mitigate risks.
Manage team leads and individual contributors, organizing workflows according to the product roadmap, including resource allocation, sprint planning, and performance evaluations to foster team growth and productivity.
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams, such as product management and research to ensure SDK compatibility across platforms, resolve integration issues, and align on technical standards.
Ensure that the solutions developed are of high technical standards and follow robust architectural practices established within the company.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of leading large teams (30+ members) through complex projects, including conflict resolution, mentoring, and stakeholder management.
Strong experience building and deploying crypto wallets, DeFi protocols, and working with Web3 tech stacks (e.g., EVM, Solidity, ethers.js/web3.js).
Strong Node.js and React Native mobile development experience with experience launching and maintaining successful applications.
Good C++ development experience and understanding of OS, cryptography and networking primitives. Experience building native addons in Node.js is great to have.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
