Our utilities client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior / Lead Technical Business Analyst to join their core Tech function.
This senior role will lead technical and functional business analysis + change management activities, ensuring corporate applications are fit for purpose, aligned to business strategy, and successfully adopted across the organisation.
You will manage a small team of BAs, guiding high-quality requirements definition, solution design, and continuous improvement across a complex application landscape. Working closely with senior stakeholders, enterprise architecture, and external partners, you will play a key role in delivering effective, well-governed technology change.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of Business Analysts, ensuring excellence in requirements discovery, documentation, and solution design
Maintain a holistic view of the application landscape, ensuring integration, alignment, and business fit
Design and deliver robust change management strategies to drive adoption and minimise disruption
Lead stakeholder engagement, communications, and training for system changes and new implementations
Contribute to application procurement by assessing functional suitability and vendor capabilities
Ensure adherence to project governance, standards, and best practices
Act as a trusted bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultants
About You
Degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or similar
Fluent in English and Spanish
Extensive IT industry experience with a strong background in business analysis
Proven leadership in requirements gathering and solution design for enterprise applications
Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and project governance
Experience with ERP, CRM, data platforms, or custom business systems
Ability to interrogate data (SQL) or APIs (Postman), and / or do basic PoC work in Python
Certifications in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Change Management are desirable
Job Specifics
Onsite Working - Moncloa-Aravaca. Initially 4 days per week
Salary : Up to €65,000 per annum (+ potential bonus - tbc)
