**Duties and Responsibilities**
**Teaching and Learning**:
- High-Quality Instruction: Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons in Edexcel International A-Level Economics to Sixth Form students, ensuring academic excellence and student success.
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver a comprehensive, challenging, and engaging curriculum for both IGCSE and A-Level Economics students, aligned with British curriculum standards.
- Assessment and Feedback: Use assessment data effectively to monitor student progress, provide detailed feedback, and set targets for improvement.
- Collaboration with Humanities Faculty: Work closely with a team of dedicated and experienced teachers within the Humanities Faculty to ensure high-quality teaching and learning practices.
**Academic Development and Enrichment**:
- Student Support: Provide tailored academic support for students, including those aspiring to study economics or related fields at university.
- Enrichment Opportunities: Contribute to the school’s academic enrichment programme by leading activities such as an economics society, guest lectures, and trips to enhance students’ understanding of general economic issues.
- University and Careers Guidance: Work with the Sixth Form team to inspire and guide students pursuing higher education in economics or related fields.
**Pastoral and Behavioural Support**:
- Form Tutor Role: Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral care and supporting students' well-being alongside their academic development.
